Jack H. Ansley, age 91, a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, died peacefully on Friday, October 10, 2025, at the State VA Home in Kernersville, NC. He was born December 2, 1933, in Chatham County, NC to Bunyan and Bonnie (Mashburn) Ansley.
He loved God, his family and country. In the Air Force for 23 years as an aircraft mechanic, his last station in Anchorage, Alaska became his favorite place to live, visit and talk about.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Nancy (Whitaker) Ansley, his oldest son, Douglas Brett Ansley, and his grandson, Joseph Cloutier III.
He is survived by his children, Kennth B. Ansley (Janice), Jacquline A. Wilkins and Keith H. Ansley (Karen). Surviving grandchildren include Michele Jordan, April Earles, Melissa McMillion (Philip), Lauren Speckin (Bruce), and Matthew Ansley (Michaela). He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and six (6) great-great-grandchildren.
Our dad was an amazing man of God, with the most generous heart, who believed in serving others through various ministries that included the AG Royal Rangers, Prison Ministry and so many more. We are grateful for his life and examples of loving God and others.
A memorial service will be held 7:00 PM Friday evening, October 17, 2025, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Pastor Rodney Ashby officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 6:00 PM- 6:45 PM at the funeral home.
