Jack Stanley Hedrick

Jack Stanley Hedrick, 81 was called to his eternal home on Thursday, December 26th, 2024 at his home in Summerfield. Jack, also known as "Pa" was born on March 18th,1943 in Guilford County to the late Paul Stanley and Sarah Mcpherson Hedrick. Jack had a love of working on cars, going to car auctions, spending all the time he could with his family and owning Jack Hedrick Auto Sales. He had a strong work ethic working until the day before Christmas this year. He loved to stay busy. In 1982, he opened Jacks Gas Mart in Oak Ridge and it remained open until 1992. For over 26 years he owned and ran Jack Hedrick Auto Sales. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, pa, father in law and friend to many. He and his sweetheart "Violet" were married for 58 years. They loved owning a business, going on roll back rides, cooking large meals for their family and always showing everyone how much unconditional love they had for them. He was preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife, Violet. Two sisters, Ann Peoples and Dedi Hodges and brother Tommy Hedrick. Survivors include his daughter, Romona (husband, Steve); son, Ronnie (wife, Jennifer) and son, Robbie. Grandchildren, Ashley (husband, Jason); Brittany (fiancé, Chris); Brianna and Jessica Hedrick. Great Grandchildren, Jackson Washam, Lejla Faison, and Grayson Hedrick. Sisters: Kay, Becky, Margaret and Vickie along with many extended family members. 

A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 29th from 5-8 pm at Hayworth-Miller in Kernersville. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 30th at 1 pm at the funeral home, with entombment to follow at Westminster Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
