KERNERSVILLE-Jack Thomas Peddycord, Sr., 85, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2015. He was born November 27, 1929 in Forsyth Co. to Grady Thomas and Allie Pope Peddycord. Jack was an active member of Pisgah United Methodist Church since childhood and was involved in many church functions he also was a member of the Kernersville Exchange Club. Jack owned and operated Pedicraft a cut and sew manufacturer until his retirement; he then went back to farming which was one of his many pleasures in life. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, David Peddycord. Surviving are his wife, Loraine Myers Peddycord; daughter, LuAnn Smith; son, Jack Thomas Peddycord, Jr.; grandchildren, Jason Smith, Jack Thomas Peddycord, III, Tara Waite; great-grandchildren, Allie, Shane, Olivia and Tyler; brothers, James and Wayne Peddycord. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Pisgah United Methodist Church with Rev. Jeff Harlow and Rev. Harold Shives officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel.
