Jackie Hartley

Mr. Jackie Shelton Hartley, 81, of Kernersville passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Summerstone Health and Rehabilitation Center. Jackie was born in Watauga County to Arthur Shelton and Annie Barnes Hartley. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Marie Hartley and two brothers, Frank and Jerry Hartley. Jackie is survived by his wife, Ann Hartley; his son, Jack Hartley; two granddaughters, Amanda and Andrea Hartley; and one sister, Francis Johnson.

A memorial service for Jackie will be held at 3 pm on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Pastor Andy Rowe officiating. The family would like to express their gratitude to Summerstone Health and Rehab for their love and respect shown to Jackie during his time there.
