Jacqueline Spillman Gibson

Mrs. Jacqueline Spillman Gibson, 75 of Winston-Salem, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2013. She was born August 28, 1938 in Forsyth County to the late Edison James and Mozelle Bennett Spillman. Jacqueline was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church and was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Leon Gibson and a daughter, Joyce Darlene Gibson. Surviving to cherish her memory is a daughter, Teona Reinhardt (Jake) of Mocksville, NC, two sons; Bruce Gibson(Edith) of Winston-Salem, Jeff Gibson of Winston-Salem, 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, a sister, Betty Jean Lawson (Gene) of Walkertown, her closest friend, Loretta Mason of Kernersville, NC and faithful companion Oz. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, September 27, 2013 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel officiated by Pastor Harold Linder.
