Jacqueline "Jackie" Kinser Brown

Mrs. Jacqueline “Jackie” Kisner Brown, 65, of Lewisville, NC, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at her home. 

She was born on November 4, 1960, in Cook County, Illinois, to the late Mr. William Kisner and Mrs. Doreen Stonecipher Peeden.

Jackie was known for her creative spirit and gentle heart, finding beauty in the simple things life had to offer. A talented artist and poet, she expressed herself through both her words and her creativity. The outdoors was her sanctuary, where she found peace in the quiet of her backyard and by the pond, spending countless hours reflecting. Whether she was fishing, tending to her gardens, watching the deer she faithfully fed, or simply observing the wildlife that visited her yard, Jackie found comfort in nature and joy in its beauty.

Though she devoted herself to being a homemaker, she was much more than just your typical stay-at-home Mom. She was the heart of her family, a loving wife, a mother, a mamaw, and a caregiver to all. The kitchen was often filled with her baked goods, the best meals, and her favorite homemade salsa. She would prepare the homemade salsa with items from her garden and treasured harvesting the fruits of her own labor.

Above all, she deeply loved and adored her grandchildren, who knew her as “Mamaw.” She will be deeply missed and remembered for her steady love that she gave to everyone.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 36 years, Brad Brown; two children, Clint Venable (Tabitha Booe, the mother of his children) and Jessie Venable; four grandchildren, Ben, Andrew, Camila Grace and Abby; and a furry companion, Tucker. She will be missed by countless friends who meant so much to her.

There will be no formal services held at this time. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Mental Health Association of Forsyth County, 1509 S. Hawthorne Road, Winston-Salem, NC, 27103.
