James Laval Brown

WALKERTOWN - James Laval Brown, 61, a loving and wonderful husband, father, and grandfather, passed away Sunday, October 27, 2013 at his home. He was born June 7, 1952 in St. Lucie Co., FL to the late Malcolm Ebert Brown, Sr. and Margaret April Walsh Brown. James was kind and generous to a fault. He had a great sense of humor, hardworking, and loved to read. Surviving are his wife of 22 years, Linda D. Brown of the home; son, Brian Miller; step-son, Darrin Hughes; grandson, Gabriel Sydney Hughes; sister, Josie Brown Gates; brothers, Malcolm Brown, Jr. and Lance Brown; sister-in-law, Jolene Hill; and brothers-in-law, Dean Hill and Gary Hall A Memorial Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with O.
