James Donald Buchanan

Mr. James Donald Buchanan, 71, of Winston-Salem, NC passed away on August 20, 2026. James was born on June 22, 1955, in Forsyth County, to the late Mr. Harry E. Buchanan and Mrs. Gladys J. Buchanan.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Beth D. Buchanan of Winston-Salem, brother Mark S. Buchanan and wife Laura of Southport, NC, nephew Alexander L. Buchanan and wife Grace of Boiling Springs Lakes, NC.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Oak Grove Moravian Church, located at 120 Hammock Farm Road, Winston-Salem, NC, with Pastor David Berrier officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Oak Grove Moravian Church.

Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is serving the family.
