James Samuel Cole

COLE Mr. James Samuel Cole, 87, of Winston-Salem died Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at Salemtowne. He was born October 29, 1920 in Cranston, RI. Mr. Cole served in the U.S. Army Infantry during WWII and was a graduate of Rhode Island State College where he received his B.S. degree in mechanical engineering. Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Shirley H. Cole of the home; sons, Craig (Deborah), Stephen (Norma), Donald (Meredith), and David (Debbie); two granddaughters and two grandsons. A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 31 at Salemtowne SAAL with the Rev. Donald Winters and Chaplain Linda Browne officiating. Hayworth-Miller-Cain in Kernersville is assisting the family.
