James Edward "Eddie" Byrd

God saw Eddie was getting tired and a cure was not to be, so he put his arms around him and whispered, “Come with me”. James Edward “Eddie” Byrd, 81, passed away February 28, 2024. He was born April 25, 1942, to the late James Byrd and LeeAnna Carson Byrd. Eddie Byrd was a member at Brims Grove Baptist Church for around 60 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret Vaden Byrd; two children, Karen B. Plaster and Michael Byrd; two grandchildren, William Louis Plaster and Jorden N. Byrd; sister, Rebecca Covington (Tommy); niece, Sharon C. Covington; two nephews, Ryan Covington (Sherie) and Gerald Gordon (Debbie); and two great-nephews, David Covington and Zack Gordon. Eddie has requested a private graveside service at Brims Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu flowers, memorials may be made to Brims Grove Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
