James "Eric" Jones

On July 2, 2025, Eric went to his savior at his home. After a fourteen year battle, he is finally whole and pain free. Eric grew up terrorizing his Lewisville neighborhood with his beloved brother Chad and all his cousins. He loved to tell memories of the fun and trouble they would get into. He loved to hunt, shoot guns, was an excellent shot, loved music, and laying brick with pops. In 2001, I married the love of my life. In 2003, we welcomed the love of both our lives, Will. I will never forget the love in his eyes when he first met his "hero", his son. Eric was always a hard worker. All the hard work and abuse of his body caught up to him in 2011. So we started P & P RESIN Works and he became "Porky, resin caster extraordinaire ". We loved to set up at model shows and meet so many that became family to us. When his health wouldn't let him go to shows, his model brothers would come to visit or call often. That meant the world to us both. Long time friend Tracy aka GOOBER never missed a day checking on him and for that I'm eternally grateful. His heart broke when his much loved father Jerry " Pops" Jones and his faithful companion Piggy left before him, but I know they were there to welcome him home. His memory will be carried on by his Mother Trudy, brother Chad, sister Tammy, special sister Cary, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and just about anyone he met. His love of life and all things good will forever live on through his hero Will. And our love will forever live in my heart. Keep a watch over us Porky, Booboo and your hero will forever love and miss you! We will have a celebration of his life at a later date.

Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel is serving the Jones family.
