James "Jim" Grigg

Mr. James ""Jim"" Grigg, 83, passed away January 16, 2016 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born April 30, 1932 in Milwaukee, WI to the late Otto Grigg and Irene Bock Grigg. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he served as a Bishop and he also served a mission in Greely, Colorado with his wife. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Grigg is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Jane Rasmussen Grigg; his four children, Jeff Grigg and wife Katy, Jamie Grigg and wife Mary, Jason Grigg and wife Jennifer, and Jennifer Grigg Nunn and husband Mark; his brother, Robert Grigg and wife Yolanda. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at The Church of Jesus of Christ Latter-day Saints, 4260 Clinard Road, Clemmons, NC 27012 officiated by Mike Jenkins. Burial will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons.
