James "Jim" Francis Allen

Mr. James “Jim” Francis Allen, 75, a resident of Tobaccoville, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2024 in Forsyth Medical Center. Jim was born January 5, 1949 to the late David and Hazel Allen in Manlius, NY. He has one sister, Patricia Pickard of Manlius, NY. Jim joined the United States Marine Corp after attending Manlius High School. After he left the service, he worked at Accurate Die Casting in Fayetteville, NY. He later attended St. Joesph’s College of Nursing in Syracuse. Jim has three children with Helen Allen: James Allen, Jr. (Joybelle) of Baldwinsville, NY; Lon Allen (Dennis) of Atlanta, GA; and Pam Little (Dan) of Fabius, NY. Jim was preceded in death by a daughter, Kristin Allen.

Jim married Pamela Allen in 2004 and lived in Chittenango, NY for ten years before moving to his final resting place of Tobaccoville, NC. Jim has five stepchildren whom he considered his own: Jessica Chase (Derrick) of Beaufort, SC; Kenneth Chase of Syracuse, NY; Sandra Read (Matt) of King, NC; Carlie Read of Syracuse, NY; and Robert Brown of Tobaccoville. He also has twenty grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
