James Ray Mabe

Mr. James Ray Mabe, 77, passed away May 19, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born June 13, 1937 in Forsyth County to the late Howard Robert Mabe and Iola Maude Bryant Mabe. Mr. Mabe was retired from R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company with 20 years of service. He was preceded in death by his sister, Judith Spaugh; his companion, Betty Bruner; his niece, Rita Spaugh and his nephew Terry Ray Nichols. Mr. Mabe is survived by his sister, Marie Nichols; his nieces, Tammie Maat, Pam Locklear (Mark), Diana ""Jean"" Vestal (Don), Sheila Hanes (Jonathan) and his nephew, Neil Nichols. A funeral service will be held at Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel at 3:00pm, Friday, May 22, 2015.
