James Mackin, Jr.

Mr. James Francis Mackin, Jr., 87, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2022, at his home.  He was born June 24, 1935, in Baltimore, Maryland to the late James Francis and Ann Unverzagt Mackin.  Mr. Mackin was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. with several years of service.  Preceding him in death was a sister, Gloria Albrittain.  Surviving is his wife of 63 years, Myrna Mazzadri Mackin; two sons, James Francis Mackin, III (Norma Barnes Mackin) and Gregory Nolan Mackin (Kim); grandson, Jacob Eli Hecht; granddaughter, Parker Rae Mackin; brother, David Mackin; also surviving are nine nieces and nephews.  A service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, January 6, 2023, at Parklawn Mausoleum Chapel.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
