James Plemmons, Jr.

Lexington- Mr. James "Budaro" Wilkerson Plemmons, Jr., 65, passed away Friday, July 6, 2018 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. He was born September 15, 1952 in Forsyth County, the son of James Sr. and Margaret Plemmons Wolfe. He was a member of Konnoak United Methodist Church and was Vice-President of Bill Hege Carpets. James enjoyed fishing, golf and NASCAR. He was a strong-willed quiet person who enjoyed life. His family, to whom he was devoted, was his life. He was preceded in death by his father, James W. Plemmons, Sr. and his step-father, Harold Wolfe. Survivors include his wife, Sandie Plemmons; his daughter, Pam Smith (Neal) of Clemmons; his mother, Margaret Wolfe of Winston-Salem; two sisters, Debbie Weatherman (Jeff) of Lexington and Tammy Hester (Adam) of Winston-Salem and many nieces, nephews and friends. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Hayworth Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Bobby Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM Thursday, July 12, 2018 prior to the service at the funeral home.
