James Poindexter

Mr. James Hartman Poindexter, 40, passed away unexpectedly Monday, July 16, 2018. He was born in Forsyth County on April 9, 1978. James enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a loving husband and father. Surviving is his wife of 17 years, Amanda Jones Poindexter; two sons, Daniel and Matthew Poindexter; mother, Ella Mae Poindexter; sister, Sharon Hudson; nephew, Mark Hudson; several other family members and a close friend, Phil Fleming. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, July 21, 2018 at the Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel with Pastor Rodney Hellard officiating. Burial will follow at Baileys Chapel United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:45 PM prior to the service.
