James "Roger" Inman

James “Roger” Inman, 87, of Bermuda Run, NC passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at his home. He was born July 20, 1938 in Surry County to the late Auther Inman and Annie Ruth Inman Venable. Mr. Inman proudly served his country for six years in the United States Army and later attended the Winston-Salem Business College. He enjoyed being a member of the Winston-Salem Shag Club and the Winston-Salem Elks Lodge. He enjoyed music, dancing and NASCAR racing. Roger retired from Piedmont Airlines/ USAirways/ American Airlines. 

In addition to his parents, he was raised and cared for by his great, great aunt and uncle, Mr. Reid and Alice Joyce and their special daughter, RunieMae Joyce Needham. Surviving are his loving wife, Tootie Aldridge Inman; a stepdaughter, Penny Owens (Rick); a stepson Barron Alrdridge (Shelley); a special “son”, Seth; two daughters, Dana Watson (Michael) and Kimberly Livengood; five grandchildren, Stelar Romero, Demi Moore, Johnathan Watson, Joseph Watson and Jack Watson and a special nurse with Trellis Supportive Care, Teresa Smith. 

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel.
