James Southard

James Wayne Southard, 70, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023, under the care of Bermuda Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Forsyth County on November 4, 1952, to the late James Southard and Ruth Stafford Southard. James was a retired mechanic from Loomis. He was a simple man, who enjoyed fixing things, especially old John Deere tractors. He was a friend to many and will be missed by those who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by his daughter, Pam Williams.

He is survived by a brother, Jerry Southard, and a niece, Bonnie Southard.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Donna Friddle officiating. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 2:00 PM- 3:00 PM.
