James Henry Stine, Jr.

CLEMMONS, NC-Mr. James Henry Stine, Jr., 72, of Clemmons, NC, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Stine was born on October 13, 1942 in Forsyth County, NC to the late James Henry Stine, Sr. and Katherine Reavis Stine. James retired from the United States Army Reserve, R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company and the Lewisville Fire Department. In addition to his parents, Mr. Stine was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Hugh Stine. Mr. Stine is survived by his wife, Patricia Pilcher Stine; three children, Susan Dozier (Brian), James H. Stine, III (Christine) and William Stine (Holly); four grandchildren, Abigail Stine, Emily Stine, Amelia Stine and Eric Dozier. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Unity Moravian Church with Rt. Rev. Wayne Burkette officiating. Interment will follow in the church graveyard. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Forsyth County, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
