James Tate, Sr.

WINSTON SALEM – Mr. James William Tate, Sr., 74 passed away Monday, August 19, 2019. James was born on June 28, 1945 in Forsyth County to the late Robert and Oreta Lunford Tate.  He was a veteran of the US Army serving in Vietnam Era.

Surviving are two sons, Robert W Tate and James W Tate Jr (Karen); two daughters, Virginia Masters and Wendy Tate Dudley; along with four brothers, Robert Tate (Kaye), Walt Tate (Gail), Mike Tate (Sandra), and Lee Tate (Becky); and one sister; Donna Estevez.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
