James Turner

Mr. James Thomas Turner, 73, died on September 30, 2018, at Trellis Supportive Care. James was born in Forsyth County on October 27, 1945, to Russell and Katherine Holden Turner. James retired from HFCS Transportation with 20 years of service. He adored his grandchildren and loved NASCAR racing and football. He was dearly loved and will be deeply missed. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his loving wife, Brenda Faye Turner; one daughter, Tonya Ogburn; and one sister, Ruby Hutchins. Surviving are one daughter, Tammy Davis; three grandchildren, Joshua Turner, Michael Davis, and Austin Davis; four great-grandchildren, Brayden Turner, Cameron Turner, Trenton Turner, and Emma Grace Davis; one sister, Judy Royal; and one brother, Larry Turner. A graveside service will be held at 2:30pm on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 12-2pm at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
