James Lee 'Jimmy' Wilson, Sr.

Mr. James Lee ""Jimmy"" Wilson, Sr., went to be with his Saviour on March 9, 2013 at the age of 70. He spent his lifetime in Winston-Salem. His pride and joy was his family and his church. He was a member and leader of the Senior Citizen Group at Edgewood Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Inez McGee Wilson. He is survived by a daughter, April Chau and her two sons and daughter, and a granddaughter; a son, James Lee Wilson, Jr. (Christine) and their son and daughter and three step-children and five step-grandchildren; a daughter, Jamie Bautista and her four sons and daughter. A celebration of his Homegoing will be held at 2:00pm, Thursday, March 14, 2013 at Edgewood Baptist Church with the Rev. Kent Hogan officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at the church. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
