James Wise

Mr. James Matheson Wise, 97, of Clemmons, passed away Friday, January 14, 2022. He was born November 15, 1924 in Forsyth County to the late Charity Kiser Wise and Luther Franklin Wise. Mr. Wise served in the U.S. Navy and retired from Western Electric. He was also a member of Clemmons First Baptist Church and  was preceded in death by his six siblings. Surviving are his wife of 76 years, Bessie Petree Wise; two daughters, Debbie Harper (Barry) and Cathy Saunders (Michael); four grandchildren, Kim Buckner (David), Pam Saunders-Phillips, Bradley Harper (Jodi) and Jonathan Harper (Janaina) ; 15 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A private graveside service will be held at Westlawn Gardens of Memory. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. (Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel)
