James Wnentowski

Mr. James Wnentowski, 69, of Winston-Salem passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at his home. He was born January 20, 1946 in Brooklyn, NY to William and Frances Wnentowski. James was a member of the Greek Orthodox Church. He was dedicated to the children on his bus route for the Winston-Salem Forsyth County School System. Surviving are his loving wife Mary Manolakakis Wnentowski, three daughters, Georgianna Strauser, Fran Cook (David), and Patsy Scelfo (Damian); seven grandchildren, Drew, Jordin, Jonathon, Madison, David, Dominick, and Sabrina; a brother, Michael Giordano (Kathy); and his mother, Frances Domanski of Winston-Salem. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church with Rev. Fr. Demitri Kangelaris officiating. Burial will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at the church with the Trisagion service at 7:30.
