James Coleman "Jc" Redding

James Coleman “JC” Redding, 83, passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Yadkin Nursing Care Center in Yadkinville. JC was born on August 13, 1935 in Forsyth County to William Henderson and Mortie Evelyn Shore. He retired from Roadway Express in 1983. He was an avid NASCAR and Dale Earnhardt fan. Most of all, JC enjoyed spending time with his family who meant the world to him. He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather who was greatly loved and will be deeply missed.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his oldest son, Ricky Redding; and brother, John L. Redding. Surviving family includes his two children, Ronda (David) Vaught of Yadkinville and Russell (Susan) Redding of Walkertown; four grandchildren, Jameson (Summer) Vaught of Nashville, TN, Jennifer (Brian) Booe of Yadkinville, Cole (Ashley) Redding of Walkertown and Cody Redding of Walkertown; three great-grandchildren, Korbin Booe, Caleb Redding and Grayson Redding; one brother, William H. Redding of Walkertown; one sister, Christine Fine of Walkertown; and several guardian angles who cared for him at Yadkin Nursing Care Center. A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 PM on Monday, Dec. 31, 2018 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel, with Rev. Doug Klein officiating.
