Jamie Marie Morehead

Miss. Jamie Marie Morehead, 34 , of Winston-Salem died October 17, 2013. She was born December 9, 1978 to Steven Gordon and Patricia Parham Morehead Chandler. Jamie loved yard work, flowers, and cooking. Her daughter Abigail was the love of her life as well as her dog Olivia. She was the best mother Abigail could ever have. Jamie was a loving and sweet daughter who never raised her voice, and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her daughter Abigail; her parents, her step-father David Chandler; sister Erica Mabe (Jason); brother Patrick Chandler; grandmother Dorothy Morehead; niece Madeline Mabe; aunt Jeaney Edwards (Rick); aunt Jenny King (Johnny); and uncle James Morehead (Ann). A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday October 20, 2013 At Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Eddie Honeycutt officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday October 19, 2013 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home. There will be a private graveside service Monday.
