Jamie Newsome Snow

        Jamie Newsome Snow, 49, of Advance, NC passed away Saturday, May 9, 2026. She was born in Forsyth County on December 27, 1976 to Joel Michael Newsome and Brenda Darnell Newsome. Jamie graduated from Davie High School in 1995 and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. Surviving are her two children, Hunter Snow and fiancé, Karis; her daughter, Bailey Snow; her parents; Mike and Brenda Newsome and one brother, Chad Newsome and wife Isabel and niece, Emersyn. Many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Above all else, Jamie lived for her family. Her two children were the light of her life and her greatest source of pride. She poured every ounce of her love and energy into being their foundation, their biggest fan on and off the ball field, and their home. Jamie was a fiercely loyal friend to many and an animal lover through and through. She never met a stray she didn't want to bring home and always showed them love. Jamie will be remembered as a woman of immense heart and quiet strength. Her compassion knew no bounds, she gave herself freely and without hesitation. Though she may not have always had much, she lived a life of true abundance through the love she shared. 

        Family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 17, 2026 at at Liberty Baptist Church. The service will be held at 3:00 p.m. following the conclusion of visitation with Pastor Noel Hawks officiating. A dear family friend Jonathan Blackburn will share a few words during the service honoring Jamie’s memory. Immediately following the service, burial will conclude in the church cemetery. Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel is serving the family.
