Janet Richardson Holcomb

Janet Richardson Holcomb, 68, passed away at Forsyth Medical Center on Saturday, July 22, 2017. She was born on April 7, 1949 to Nona Lee Walser Richardson and Garner William Richardson in Forsyth County. Janet was a member of Refuge Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. She enjoyed singing and playing the piano. Janet will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Surviving are her husband, Rev. Bobby G. Holcomb; daughters, Rebekah Crafford, and Deborah Smith (David); son, Bobby G. Holcomb, Jr. (Linda); grandchildren, Crystal, Austin (Danielle) Smith; Sarah Louia (Brad), Hannah, Faith and Andrew Crafford, Jared Laperchia; Anna and Amy Holcomb; great grandchildren, Layla, Mariah, Josiah, and Elias; brothers, Roger Richardson (Sandra), and Steve Richardson (Cynthia); and brother-in-law, William Holcomb (Mary Ruth). A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek. Interment will follow at Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery in Hamptonville.
