Janice Billings

Mrs. Janice Long Billings, 84, of Lexington, formerly of Winston-Salem, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born January 15, 1939 in Rockingham County. Mrs. Billings was a long time member of Lighthouse Baptist Church and retired from AT & T. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack Long and Dorothy Isley Long; her husband, Everet Nelson Billings; a sister, Lorraine Cecil and a brother, Samuel Long. Surviving are a son, David Sheets (Teresa); a grandson, Travis Sheets; two brothers, Dr. Joe Long (Beverly) and Jerry Long (Janice) and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory with Dr. Joe Long officiating.
