Janice Baker Jones

Janice Baker Jones, 71, passed away on April 16, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born on March 11, 1944 to Raymond Baker and Shirley Livengood Baker in Winston-Salem. Janice graduated from RJ Reynolds High School, attended Mars Hill College, and retired from RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company. Post retirement, she lived her dream of living on a farm and showing Tennessee Walking Horses alongside her husband. Janice will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her loving husband of 36 years, William ""Bill"" Jones of the home; one son, Paul Schleicher, Jr. (Drucilla Kellam) of Winston-Salem; one daughter, Susan Jones Eison (Ross Eison, Jr.); and one granddaughter, Emily Grayson Ayers, all of Bluffton, SC; a large extended maternal family; as well as two best friends, Brenda B. Borden and Sandra Davis. A private service will be conducted. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Forsyth Humane Society, 61 Miller St., Winston-Salem, NC 27104.
