Janice Lynne Wolf Plott

Janice Lynne Wolf Plott, 64, passed away on November 8, 2016 at Trinity Elms Health and Rehab. Jan was born on July 1, 1952 in St. Louis, MO. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church since 1973 when her family moved to Winston-Salem. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from UNCG School of Nursing. During her career as an R.N. she provided compassionate care in a variety of settings. Jan will be remembered for her kindness and humility. Jan's servant's heart was made apparent by her selfless consideration for others. She was preceded in death by her father, Lester August Wolf. Surviving are her children, Aaron Plott (Emmalin), Emily Plott (Ben Wiles), and Josh Plott (Courtenay Padgett, Beckham); granddaughter, Lola Rose Plott; siblings, Debbie Wolf, David Wolf (Sheila), Becky Kirby, Kim Houston (Leonard), Cyndie Anderson (Rod); nieces and nephews, Katie Pogel (Andy), Ashley Wolf, Zachary Houston, and Jordan Anderson; also, a special aunt, Elaine Henley. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 11, 2016 at St. John's Lutheran Church with Pastor Keith Less officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
