Janie Lee Brown Barquero, 77, passed away Wednesday June 14, 2023 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. She was born in New Hanover County to the late Cecil Elmore Brown and Lois Lee Chaplin Brown on July 7, 1945.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday June 26, 2023 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor Gilbert Banks Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends 1-1:45 PM before at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Online condolences may be sent to www.hayworth-miller.com.
