Jason Todd Griffin

Mr. Jason Todd Griffin, 45, of Charlotte, NC passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at his home. He was born January 31, 1971 in Charlotte, NC to James and Betty Garretson Griffin. Mr. Griffin was a graduate of Olympic High School in Charlotte, NC and was a member of Grape Vine Baptist Church in Lewisville, NC. For eight years he was pastor of Victory Baptist Church in King, NC. Survivors include his mother, Betty (B.J.) Godleski and husband, Steve of Mint Hill, NC; his father, James (Jim) Griffin of Charlotte, NC; two brothers, Troy Griffin and wife, MaryAnn of Huntersville, NC and Wade Griffin and wife, Leslie of Charlotte, NC; two nephews, Dallas Griffin and Kyle Griffin; one niece, Heather Bell; aunts and uncles, Walter and Dorcas Garretson, Gwyn and Michelle Griffin, and Bertha Griffin all of Winston-Salem, NC and Barbara and Kelly Avant of Sneads Ferry, NC; and several beloved cousins. The funeral service will be conducted Saturday at 1:00 PM at Grapevine Baptist Church in Lewisville, NC. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grapevine Baptist Church in care of the Griffin family to assist with funeral expenses, 7869 Grapevine Road Lewisville, NC 27023.
