Jason Eugene Harper

Lewisville
Jason Eugene Harper, 42, died suddenly on April 11, 2015 due to an apparent abnormality in his heart that had not been detected. Jason was outdoors laughing and joking while doing what he loved, working on his new home, with his mother Shirley Harper and brother-in-law, Alan Holden by his side. Jason was born to Bruce E. Harper and Shirley H. Harper in Forsyth County, the youngest of three children on December 30, 1972. Preceding him in death was his father; grandparents, Bessie Beck and Russell Beck. Surviving is his beloved wife of 20 years, Amy Holden Harper; his loving mother, Shirley H. Harper; his dear brother and sister, Kevin Harper and Betsy Harper and his adored four legged babies, Toasty and Tater; niece, Heather Cornine and family; father-in-law, Harold Holden (Delphus); mother-in-law, Margaret Gallimore; two brothers-in-law, Andy Holden (Tammy) and Alan Holden (Stephanie); three nieces, Amber Lopez and family, Kasey Dority and family, and Christine Edmonds. Jason was a devoted husband. He was generous and kind to everyone he met, always willing to lend a smile and helping hand, thinking of others above himself. Jason was a maintenance supervisor and dedicated employee of Vision Properties. He will be deeply missed by every family member, friend, neighbor, co-worker, and acquaintance that had the honor and privilege to know such a fine man. A funeral service will be held 7:15 PM Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel with Rev. Doug Rights officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Thursday prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Jason's memory to Villalobos (Pit Bulls and Proles) http://www.vrcpitbull.net/dog/how-you-can-help/donations/ or to the local Guilford County Animal Shelter, http://www.adoptshelterpets.org/donate/ The family would like to thank the EMT'S and a special neighbor, Sean Reid for helping us during a difficult time.
