Jaylyn Keith Welch

STOKESDALE - Mister Jaylyn Keith Welch, age 9, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Kernersville Medical Center. Jaylyn was born on January 29, 2008 in Guilford County to Justin Keith Welch and Stephanie Doby.
Jaylyn was an ‘A' Honor Roll student at Huntsville Elementary School where he was loved by all who knew him. He loved being with his family, his mama, PawPaw and brother, and loved spending time with his dad and Nanny Flo.
Jaylyn enjoyed sports but was a country boy at heart! He loved being on the farm taking care of the animals and riding his four-wheeler. He had a special love for his donkey ""Jimmy"" and his PawPaw.
Jaylyn was preceded in death by one great grandmother, Shirley Beeson; two great grandfathers, James Doby and Winslow ""Papa BB"" Welch; one uncle, Terry Doby and a cousin, Haywood ""Woody"" Anderson.
Surviving are his mother, Stephanie Doby; his father, Justin Welch; one brother, Jordyn Welch; his paternal grandparents, Fonda ""Nanny Flo"" Welch, Mike Joyner, Garland ""Papa G"" Martin, and Mary Martin; his maternal grandparents, Darlene ""Nanny"" Beeson Janney and Mike ""PawPaw"" Doby; his great grandparents, Mary Alice ""Big Mama"" Craddock, June ""Granny June"" Carter, Virginia ""GG"" and Robert Smith, Stanley ""Paw"" Beeson, Peggy ""GiGi"" Beeson, and Audrey ""Nanny"" Doby; his aunt, Jenny ""Sissy"" Farrington (husband, Jerry); his uncle Steven ""Uncle Stevie"" Doby; cousins, Bailee Farrington, Jaime and Carson Wall; and a host of other loving cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Frank Shumate officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
