J.C. Branton

J.C. Branton, 79, of Winston Salem, passed away at his home on November 18th, 2025. He was born on September 18th, 1946, in Bennettsville, SC, the son of the late Coy Henry Branton and Vance Alee Pratt Branton. J.C. was preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty Branton and a son, Joey Branton.

Survivors include two sons, Murray Branton (Leigh Ann) and Jimmy Branton; daughter-in-law, Michelle Black; grandchildren, Jessicah, Dustin, and Dakota; great grandchildren, Trynton and Bently Zayne Branton; sister, Hazel Wiggins; brother, Mack Branton; many nieces and nephews; and close friend, Paula Leonard of Mocksville. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Mt. Gur Cemetery in Kernersville with First Counselor to the Bishop, Jared Steward officiating.
