Jean Saunders

Jean Clack Saunders of Advance, NC, passed in peace Tuesday, March 12th, 2019 at the age of 76. Jean was born in Rockingham, NC to Richard and Helen Clack and was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years Charles William Saunders. She is survived by three siblings, Richard and Marcus Clack and Linda Clack Skelley of Pinehurst, NC; two daughters, Raymonda (Con) Shelton of Mocksville, NC and Camella (Jimmy) Herrin of Harrisburg, NC, as well as 3 beloved grandchildren, Haynes and Hunt Shelton and Ashley Herrin (Christian) Gagnon. Jean’s was a life well-lived. She will be remembered as a loving and dedicated mother and grandmother and for her gifts of service to the community through both church and organizations such as the Mocksville Women’s Club and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. The family will receive friends at Macedonia Moravian Church at 700 NC Hwy 801, Advance on Friday, March 15th  from 2 to 4  p.m. The Celebration of Life Service will follow at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Zach Dease officiating.  Donations may be made to the Jean C.
