Jean Lewis Wyatt, 56, of Jefferson City, Tennessee passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at her home. She was born to the late Henry Lewis and Patricia Crouch Lewis on January 13, 1968, in Forsyth County.
Jean was a dedicated teacher and a huge advocate for the Public School system. She was a voracious reader, but her real passion was supporting those she loved most. Jean’s character was punctuated by her selfless nature, and those who knew her best knew to expect kind gestures without ever needing to take credit for them. She loved being a wife, mother and nana more than anything in the world. Jean’s spirit and love will be dearly missed by everyone she left behind.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ricky Wyatt; sons, Nick Wyatt (Jacqueline), and Tom Wyatt; daughter-in-law, Seyda Wyatt; grandson, Jack Wyatt; brother, Ray Lewis; sisters, Kay Turman, and Jane Corena; nephews, Matthew Corena, and Jason Turman; nieces, Ashley Flores, and Carlie Turman; and best friend, Caroline Brown.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Hope Moravian Church located at 2759 Hope Church Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27127. The burial will follow at the church graveyard. Officiating the service will be Pastor Margaret Norris. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Yadkin County Animal Shelter at 1027 Speaks St, Yadkinville, NC 27055 in honor of Jean.
