Jeanette Boner

Mrs. Jeanette Marie Hair Boner, 68, of Clemmons, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 22, 2018. She was born June 10, 1949 in Fayetteville, NC. Mrs. Boner was preceded in death by her parents, Carolyn Culbreth Hair and William Lacy Hair, Sr. and one sister, Elizabeth "Lib" Lunsford. She was a 1967 graduate of Parkland High School and a member of Union Ridge United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband of 40 years, Burton Thomas Boner, Jr.; one daughter, Jennifer Shelton (Stephen) of Winston-Salem; one son, Brent Thomas Boner of Clemmons; two grandchildren, Owen and Ava Shelton of Winston-Salem; one sister, Deanie Creech of Lexington and one brother, William "Bill" Lacy Hair, Jr. of Winston-Salem. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Union Ridge United Methodist Church with Rev. Jerry T. Evans officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Union Ridge United Methodist Church or to Mountain Valley Hospice & Palliative Care of Yadkin County.
