KERNERSVILLE - Jeanette Perdue Parsons, 79, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Kernersville Medical Center. Jeanette was born on January 7, 1939 in Forsyth County to Albert Merdith and Nellie Nelson Perdue. She faithfully served Jesus Christ and attended Triad Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband, Jiles Clifford Parsons; and a sister Marceline Blakley.
Surviving are her daughter, Paulette Dodson; her son, Clifford Parsons (Melinda); five grandchildren, Samantha, Sasha, Faith, Katie and Jake Parsons; two great grandchildren, Hunter and Parker; three sisters, Shirley Baker (Johnny), Lou Edna Andrews (Bill), and Maxine Tesh (Bill); and many special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 30, 2018 at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory with Pastor Rob Decker officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 1:45 p.m. Monday prior to the service at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel.
