Jeff Sparks

Jeff Sparks, 73, of Pfafftown, North Carolina, passed away on June 15, 2026, after a long and courageous fight with cancer. He was born on September 15, 1952, in Ohio. Jeff lived a life marked by humor, honor and an unwavering dependability that touched everyone who knew him. Jeff spent many years working at Ryan’s Restaurant, where his steady presence and strong work ethic left a lasting impression on coworkers and customers alike. He was the kind of man you could always count on, whether at work or in life, and he carried himself with a quiet integrity that earned him deep respect. Those who knew Jeff well, knew he was genuinely funny. He had an unexpected love for rap music and was passionate about following politics and staying engaged with the world around him. His greatest companion was his beloved dog, Bo. The two were inseparable and their daily walks together were a cherished routine. Jeff was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Sparks. He is survived by his daughter, Dana Holloway; his grandchildren, Zoey and Zach Holloway, who will carry his legacy forward with love and pride. Jeff is also survived by many loving brothers, a sister, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Sunday, June 21, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall, located at 305 Bethania-Rural Hall Rd., Rural Hall, NC 27045. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 on Monday, June 22, 2026, at King Memorial Park, Baptist Dr. King, NC 27021.
