Jenny Sams Lyons

Mrs. Jenny Sams Lyons, 69, left this life on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at home surrounded by her family after a long struggle with Alzheimer's. She is retired from Piedmont Airlines and is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers and a sister. Survivors include her husband, Michael Lyons; a step-son, Matthew; a daughter-in-law, Shannon; a sister, Estelle Gordon; three brothers, Lloyd, Alvin and Glenn Sams; two sisters-in-law, Rita Disher and Robbyn Lyons; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
A graveside gathering will be held at 4 PM Friday, May 5, 2017 at Brims Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 PM Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. A heartfelt thanks to all her caregivers for the love and care they have provided over the years.
