Jerry Frye Craig

WINSTON SALEM - Jerry Frye Craig, 74, died Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Jerry was born on July 31, 1942 in Virginia.

He retired from Old Dominion Freight Lines. Jerry loved fishing and racing and most of all loved his grandchildren!

In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Craig; one son, Jim Craig; and one brother, Albert Louis Craig.

Surviving are his son, Thomas Craig (wife, Darcey); six grandchildren, Autumn Skye Craig, Thomas Craig Jr., Jose Garay, Tara Houston, Shanda Houston and Jimmy Craig; one sister, Kathy; and nephews, Jonathan Lewis Craig and William Mobley.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 21, 2016 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with burial following at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Thursday, October 20, at the funeral home.
