Jerry Robert Jordan

Mr. Jerry Robert Jordan, 77, of Winston-Salem passed away Monday, November 21, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born May 31, 1939 in Davidson County, the son of the late Earlie Clarence and Eunice Boles Jordan. Mr. Jordan was a veteran of the US Army and was a former employee of Gravely Tractor Co. and BE Arrow Space. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, James Jordan and two sisters, Margie Wallace and Mary Christine Bullins. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Carol Jordan of the home; one son, Jerry Jordan, Jr. (Chrissie) of Mocksville; one daughter, Cynthia Talley (Marty) of Yadkinville; five granddaughters, Leslie (Ryan), Kendall (Josh), Nadia, Abigail and Cassandra; one grandson, Brandon; one sister, Jackie Craft (Don) of Thomasville; a number of nieces and nephews; three brothers-in-law, Richard Hoots (Donna), Robin Hoots (Vickey) and David Hoots (Joan) and many wonderful neighbors. A military graveside service will be conducted Friday at 2:00 PM at Gardens of Memory in Clemmons. The family will receive friends prior to the service in Mausoleum Chapel of the cemetery from 12:30 until 1:45 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1300 Baxter Street, Suite 150, Charlotte, NC 28204 or to the charity of the donor's choice.
