Jerry Wayne Minor

Mr. Jerry Wayne Minor, age 86 of Lewisville, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at the Kernersville Medical Center.  He was born November 30, 1937, in Davie County to the late Lewis Grant Minor and Ella Frye Minor.  Jerry retired from RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company.  Preceding him in death were five brothers, Bob, Bill, David, Larry, and Joe Minor.  He is survived by his sister, Zeryl Minor Hudson of the home; brothers, Jim Minor (Cheryl) and Donald Minor, sisters, Linda Minor Moore and Jean Minor Bourne (David); special niece, Stephanie Chappell (Craig) and special nephew, Stephen Wayne Hudson Jr. (Kerri); also surviving are several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.  A private family graveside service will be held at Westlawn Gardens of Memory.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
