Jerry Arnold Nichols

Mr. Jerry Arnold Nichols, 78, of Winston-Salem passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at his home. He was born May16, 1939 in McAdenville, NC. He was a graduate of Holbrook High School in Lowell, NC and served with the US Army. He was a member of Sedge Garden United Methodist Church in Kernersville, NC and was retired from Stroh Brewery Company. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Nichols Cearley, a brother, Joe Cearley, a sister, Vickey Cearley and several aunts and uncles. Survivors include his wife, Joan Foster Nichols of the home; one son, Daniel Clark Nichols and wife, Jennifer of Jacksonville, FL; two granddaughters, Rebeckah Nichols and Caiti Nichols of London, England; one niece and several cousins. A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Sedge Garden United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends following the service.
