Jerry Wayne Viars

Jerry Wayne Viars, 62, of Winston-Salem, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born December 5, 1950 in Radford, VA to Robert and Beulah Younce Viars. Mr. Viars worked at H and V Construction for 30 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Janice French; and two grandchildren, Megan and Melanie. Surviving is his wife of 42 years, Mary Viars; three daughters, Angela Glass, Melinda Viars and Melissa Viars; twelve grandchildren; one grandchild soon to be born, Cody Wayne; one great grandchild soon to be born; a twin brother, Blaine Viars (Brenda); and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 11 at the residence with his son-in-law Danny Glass officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to his wife.
