Jesse Joe Neal

Mr. Jesse Joe Neal, 83, of Walkertown passed away on Friday, June 16, 2017 at his residence. He was born on March 13, 1934 in Forsyth County to Joe Bernie and Lottie Reid Neal. Mr. Neal was a hard worker and a dedicated family man. He was a member of Walkertown First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, JoAnn Neal; two daughters, Melanie Harmon and Micki Thomas; one grandson, Sean Neal; one brother, Jimmy Neal. Surviving are two sons, Mike Neal of Walkertown and Mark Neal and wife Rhonda of Rural Hall, seven grandchildren; one brother, Woody Neal and wife Jane; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Walkertown First Baptist Church with Rev. Philip Wagoner officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Walkertown First Baptist Church, 5185 Sullivan Rd, Walkertown, NC 27051 or to Meals on Wheels, Senior Services, Inc. 2895 Shorefair Drive Winston-Salem, NC 27105.
