Jettie Marie Bouchelle Sizemore, 75, of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, went home to be with the Lord on August 6, 2026, concluding her battle with lung disease. She passed away at the Kate B. Reynolds Trellis Hospice Center in Winston-Salem.
Born January 10, 1951, in Wilkes County, Jettie was the daughter of Odell Mastin Bouchelle and Florence Edna Call Bouchelle. Following her grandparents’ death in 1962, at the age of 16 she moved to Winston-Salem with her aunt, Nan Bouchelle Snyder. She attended North Forsyth High School and later worked for Southern Bell. In July 1972 she married Tom, and together they built a life centered on faith and family.
Jettie was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church for more than 50 years. She also served on staff, helping the church and Calvary Day School in administrative capacities. She was known for her big smile, friendly demeanor, and the genuine love she had for her family, friends, her Lord, and her church.
She is survived by her son, Jonathan Sizemore and his wife Kerri Sizemore, her daughter Jocelyn “Josie” Sizemore Bates, and her cherished grandchildren: Noah, Ethan, Sailor, Natalie, and Molly.
